18 month old male Pointer cross Spaniel available for adoption

Gorgeous Dexter boy is an 18 month old male medium sized young Podenco crosse Spaniel.

He will be in foster in Cheshire UK from the beginning of August.

He has a tan and white soft short coat and some pretty dappling.

Dexter has blossomed into such a happy and loving little boy from a quivering wreck when he was first rescued.

Dexter was running around the streets for a while and no one could get close enough to catch him, he so hungry, he eventually followed some dogs on a walk back into their garden and they managed to catch him.

Poor boy when he arrived he was literally skin and bone and was taken into foster to help build him back up again.

He’s now a very sweet natured little boy, loves to play with his doggy friends but will now also seek out love and cuddles from people.

Dexter can still be a little timid with new experiences, so his potential adopter must need a little patience and give Dexter time to settle into his new life.

We think he needs another friendly dog to live with to give him that bit more confidence.

Has been around cats and was not interested in them.

Dexter has never lived with children but has met children and was kind and gentle with them but being a slightly nervous dog, we are looking for children over 12 years, please.
